Needs & Volunteering
SBSC Everyday things we need
The Sharing Center is always in need of the
following items such as:
Monetary Donations to help stop utility shut-offs, help
families catch up on past dues rent, provide medical help and purchase prescriptions.
Food Items - Peanut Butter & Jelly, Macaroni & Cheese, canned goods with
meat - soups, spaghetti and meatballs, beefaroni, tuna, chicken, ham, rice, beans,
and pasta.
For the Homeless - Pop-Top canned goods with protein (meat & vegetables),
tents, sleeping bags, back-packs.
Personal Items - Toothbrushes, toothpaste, hand
soap, shampoo, deodorant, toilet tissue, medicated skin lotions and antibacterial
soap.
Household - Dishes, pots & pans, silverware, bedding & linens, furniture.
Help the Sharing Center Feed Kids!!

Volunteers Wanted
The south Brevard Sharing Center is looking for caring individuals who are positive and dependable, and who can donate their time to help others.
The positions available are:
Front Office Receptionist – Greet clients. Prepares necessary paperwork before the client is seen by a case manager. Answers phones. Filing and other office duties. Computers skills and plus.
Food Pantry clerk – Fill food orders. Delivers food to waiting clients. Helps with deliveries of donated and purchased food. Stock shelves. Help with clean up. Some lifting required.
Thrift shop sorters – Sifts and sorts through clothing and other items donated to our Thrift shops. Melbourne and Palm Bay locations. Determines what clothing, shoes, or household items are appropriate for sale. Helps with general housekeeping of this area.
Handymen or women, data entry clerks, and housekeepers welcome.
